You Are With Me

You are with me, God, at ev’ry moment
With deep happiness you bless my whole being.

1. Be with me God; in you I place my confidence
For you are the source of my being
   Where I find true happiness.

2. For you give blessing with love beyond measure
To those who remain faithful Through all seasons of life.

3. Those who choose a life with selfishness. Will only draw
to themselves burdens of sorrow. Let me not be drawn
to follow their ways of thinking and living.

4. You, O God, are the center of my life; For the meaning
I find in you, I am so happy and confident.

5. I thank you for being present day and night,
Inviting me to seek your truth and your wisdom.

6. I shall be mindful, O God, of your presence,
Drawing me to fulfillment beyond measure.

7. I thank you, O God, for the sense of peace And well-being that
You bring to my heart As I seek to know You and love You.

8. And as my life further unfolds my eternity,
Then I shall see You dearly and rest in Your perfect Love.
Glory be to the Creator and to Christ the Redeemer,
And to the Sanctifying Spirit, As it was in the beginning,
is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
