I am John Rommel Octavo; my friends call me Jiro. I am excited and thrilled that this app may "possibly" help you in any way in serving your community.

This app is one of my dream apps. Seeing how musicians and choirs struggle in every Mass service inspired me to create this app. Prayers and endless coding paved the way to Catholic Songbook.

I plan to build more apps that will help parishes in the future. I hope you can help me reach that goal by promoting this app to your friends and colleagues.

If you have ever wondered about life as a Jesuit — as a religious brother or as a priest — this is an invitation to come and see.

Scan the QR code on the poster to open the Philippine Jesuits’ vocation inquiry form. It goes straight to their vocations team.

I am a former Jesuit candidate. If you have questions you would rather ask someone who has walked part of this road, leave a comment below and I will reply.

New songs are added to Catholic Songbook all the time.

Do you want to contribute song data? If you have lyrics and chords we do not carry yet, email them to jiro.octavo@gmail.com.

Helpful to include

• Title, lyrics and chords
• Composer and lyricist, if known
• Language, and the part of the Mass it is sung at

Thank you for helping every parish sing.
