Now Lord

1. Now Lord the body of your Son,
Has come and dwelt within my life.
Now Lord the bread of life
Has filled my soul and peace in me abides.
Now I know the sweetness of His presence
   That fills my heart’s desires.
My lord, I love you, stay with me awhile.

2. Now Lord the weakness of my life is gone
   You strengthen me each day.
Now Lord my sinfulness has disappeared
   God’s mercy soothes my fears.
Everyday I wait and greet your presence
Jesus Christ, my Lord, this gift from
Heaven, I’ll take in me each day.

Refrain:

My Lord, I feed on you each day I live.
My Lord, I taste your love each day I breathe.
The joy I know is nothing but your grace
Bestowed on me in this bread.
O Lord, you fed me, save me from my sins.

3. Now Lord I eat of you and drink of you, I want no other food.
Now Lord, I’m bound to you and knew I find myself in you.
I have found a new life far surpassing anything on earth.
I’ve found in you Lord, all my soul’s desire.

4. Now lord the union of my heart with yours is a joyful sacrifice.
Now Lord the union of my heart
With yours makes flesh now fade away.
I can feel the warm light of your love
   Now flowing like sweet wine.
I found in you Lord, all my soul’s desire.
