Prayer For Peace

   D DM7 Bm/D Gm/D D DM7-Bm/D-Gm/D
1. Make me a channel of your peace.

            D DM7 Bm/D Gm Em7 – A7
Where there is hatred, Let me bring love.

          Em A7 A7
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord.

         Em A7 D
And where there’s doubt, true faith in you.

2. Make me a channel of your peace. Where there’s despair in life,
Let me bring hope. Where there is darkness, only life.
And when there’s sadness, ever joy.

       G Em A7 D/F# Em
3. Oh Master, grant that I may never seek so much

           A7 D D7 G Em A7 D
   To be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand;

          E7 A7
To be loved as to love with all my soul.

4. Make me a channel of your peace.
It is pardoning that we are pardoned.
In giving to all men that we receive,
And in dying that we’re born to eternal life.
