In The Time Of God

 E B/D# C#m G#m
Justice shall flourish in the time of God,

         F#m E/G# A B
with the promise of peace, with the promise of peace.

 E B/D# C#m G#m
Justice shall flourish in the time of God

         F#m A/B B A/E-E
with the promise of peace forever.

   E B/D# C#m G#m
1. Give to the one who rules the judgment of your name

    F#m E/G# A A/B B
justice and righteousness to all who come to power, and

    E B/D# C#m G#m
truly lead with integrity and right

  F#m A/B B A/E E
and the poor will receive their due.

2. Justice will flower in the days of those who lead,
and peace will abound till the moon be no more!
May the one with power rule from sea to sea,
from the rivers to the ends of the earth.

3. The one whom you call will hear the poor's cry,
the lowly and the powerless who have no voice,
pity and compassion for all who have been lost
and the lives of the needy will be saved.
